What started as a small staffing firm has grown into a multi-division organization offering temporary staffing, executive search, and business consulting, all while staying deeply rooted in the communities they serve.
The journey began with Darren Bradley, whose entrepreneurial drive showed itself early. While working as the Director of HR for Honda Motor Co.’s Power Equipment Division, Darren noticed the facility’s seasonal staffing needs, adding 200 to 300 temporary employees during peak production periods. Inspired by this model, he decided to start his own staffing company. Through a connection his mother had, he purchased a struggling staffing company for just $10,000 in 1998. Thus, The Bradley Group was born. Over the years, the company has grown steadily, evolving to meet the changing needs of businesses and job seekers alike.
Led by Darren Bradley, who stays actively involved in daily operations, The Bradley Group has strengthened its presence across North Carolina while continuing to grow its offices in Charlotte and Greensboro. ”Their team supports clients in industries including administrative and office, general and heavy labor, construction, manufacturing and assembly, machine operation, and warehouse and distribution.
When asked why The Bradley Group decided to join PEC, Darren explained that the partnership felt like an extension of their entrepreneurial approach. “Through a relationship with other like-minded entrepreneurs, we can control our own destiny,” he said. “It gives us the opportunity to not be at the whims of the workers’ compensation insurance market and be in control of our own business.”

Through their business consulting division, they work closely with staffing clients to implement risk management controls. This approach aligns naturally with PEC’s focus on long-term stability, safety, and sustainability.
